Few mistakes undermine the authority of an expert faster than using the wrong word in your instruction. You use &quot;route&quot; which means a road or path when you meant &quot;rout&quot; which means dig into or unearth. 

I know you were quoting in the original e-mail, but you could have substituted for the incorrect &quot;try and&quot; with &quot;[try to].&quot;
